This Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) grant, known as the Novel Experiential Technologies Assisting Individual Learning (NExT AI) Hubs initiative, is for establishing research Centers. These Centers will conduct understudied, highly innovative research on the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies on developmental outcomes in children. Specifically, the focus is on children at risk for developing, or diagnosed with, specific learning disabilities (SLD) impacting reading, writing, and mathematics. The grant seeks to advance NICHD’s mission by exploring how novel experiential AI can assist individual learning and understanding its effects on child development.
