Description: Understanding the ecological changes of Shark River Slough, of both eastern and western regions, is essential for establishing restoration goals and objectives and for developing the ENP strategies for managing its natural resources. The purpose of the study is to monitor potential ecological effects from the implementation of the Modified Water Deliveries Project and other restoration projects on flocculent material, periphyton, soil, and plant tissue communities in Western Shark River Slough.
