The Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB) is accepting applications for the Basic Center Program (BCP) grant. This program, authorized by the Runaway and Homeless Act, aims to address the critical issues faced by Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY). The FYSB is offering this grant to establish centers that provide a vital alternative for young people who might otherwise enter the law enforcement, child welfare, mental health, or juvenile justice systems. This grant is specifically for organizations that can offer RHY safe and appropriate shelter, along with comprehensive individual, family, and group counseling. Additionally, recipients must ensure the provision of essential aftercare services to support the long-term well-being of these vulnerable youth.
