The Administration for Children and Families’ Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB) announces funding for its Transitional Living Program (TLP). This grant program aims to implement, enhance, or support effective strategies for successfully transitioning runaway and homeless youth, aged 16 to under 22, including pregnant and parenting youth with their children, to sustainable living. Projects must offer safe, stable, and appropriate shelter for up to 18 months, extendable to 21 months under extenuating circumstances. Beyond shelter, the TLP provides comprehensive services designed to support youth in achieving self-sufficiency and stable, independent living. The program targets improvements in key outcome areas: safe and stable housing, education/employment, permanent connections, and social and emotional well-being.
