Description: This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) will support the Federal Police Commission of Ethiopia’s (FPCE) delivery of comprehensive HIV/AIDS services with the goals to reduce new HIV infections, related morbidity and mortality; improve treatment adherence and retention of persons living with HIV; and mitigate the impact of HIV/AIDS on the FPCE force and their families, as well as Prison communities. The FPCE will conduct prevention activities such as STI screening and treatment, voluntary male medical circumcision, targeted HIV counseling and testing; support integration of TB and HIV programs; improve the quality of adult and pediatric treatment, care and support services; and strengthen its laboratories to support diagnosis and treatment monitoring using routine viral load service. FPCE will strengthen its health workforce through increasing the quantity, quality and retention of health professionals with the skills to address the health needs of the police and prison communities.
