Description: The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) proposes to enter into a Cooperative Agreement for an estimated $401,000 with the Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM) to further our shared mission to mitigate the losses, costs, and human suffering caused by flooding and to promote the wise use of the natural and beneficial functions of floodplains. The following specific activities will be undertaken:  2012 ASFPM National Conference, Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) Program, CAP-SSSE Meeting in Madison, WI, L-273 development, State Floodplain Manager’s Mentoring, and RiskMAP/Floodplain Management integration effort.
