FEMA Grant to Foster Community Resilience through Local Engagement and a National Challenge Program
FEMA is offering this grant to enhance community resilience across the nation. This grant is for a recipient to collaborate with FEMA on two key initiatives. Firstly, it aims to establish a new mechanism for engaging local communities, encouraging them to develop creative activities that address their unique interests and needs to build disaster resilience. Secondly, the grant supports the implementation and management of the Community Resilience Challenge Awards Program. This national program is designed to stimulate, support, and expand successful community-led initiatives, while also encouraging residents to design innovative collaborative projects specifically aimed at strengthening overall community resilience against various challenges.
