The Fogarty International Center, in collaboration with several National Institutes of Health (NIH) institutes, is offering the Chronic, Non-Communicable Diseases and Disorders Across the Lifespan: Fogarty International Research Training Award (NCD-LIFESPAN) D43 grant. This grant is for fostering collaborative research training between U.S. institutions and those in low-and middle-income countries (LMICs). Its purpose is to sustainably strengthen the research capacity of LMIC institutions and train in-country experts to conduct research on chronic, non-communicable diseases and disorders throughout the lifespan. The ultimate goal is to enable the implementation of evidence-based interventions relevant to their specific countries. This initiative utilizes the NIH Institutional Research Training D43 grant mechanism.
