Additional Information on Eligibility: The United States Department of the Interior, The National Park Service (NPS), Great Smoky Mountain National Park, is announcing a notice of intent to award to award a cooperative agreement; this is not a request for applications. This funding opportunity is to provide public notice of NPS’s intention to fund the following project activities without full and open competition, under Cooperative Agreement P15AC00024 with Conservation Legacy, for a project titled; Vegetation and Aquatic Macroinvertebrate

Description: The project will include field work, data collection, and data management related to several on-going natural resource management projects in Great Smoky Mountains National Park (GRSM). Projects include long-term forest plot monitoring, vegetation mapping accuracy assessment, wetlands inventory, aquatic macroinvertebrate monitoring, and rare plant monitoring. Data collected will assist park management efforts to protect important natural resources throughout the park. These data will also be informative to the scientific community, park partners, educators and the general public.
