Version History

Version Modification Description Updated Date
There are two revisions to the instructions for this funding opportunity announcement which, in general, clarify required document submissions.

The first revision corrected a minor typographical error in the chart on page 3 to indicate that applicants submit an indirect cost rate agreement, not indirect cost rage agreement, if applicable.

In addition, more significant revisions occurred on page 12 to clarify that applicants do *not* need to submit: organizational chart and staffing summary statements; certification of qualified staff and review board statements; audit certification forms; construction budget information forms; or construction assurances. Applicants *do* still need to submit an indirect cost rate agreement, if applicable.

To reiterate a previous revision to this funding opportunity announcement: registration with asap.gov is *not* a required element of the application and *should not* be initiated until instructed by the awarding agency.

A complete application consists of the following: SF-424, SF-424a, SF-424b, indirect cost rate agreement (if applicable), and a project description. Documents not otherwise available for download through grants.gov must be attached to the application using the provided form.

Jul 01, 2016
This modification clarifies eligible recipients (does not include nonprofit organizations other than State Historic Preservation Offices with nonprofit status) and corrects application instructions to clarify that applicants do not have to register in the federal award payment system (ASAP.gov) prior to applying for a grant.
