The Incorporating Human Behavior in Epidemiological Models (IHBEM) program is offering a grant specifically designed to support research projects that integrate social and behavioral processes within mathematical epidemiological models. This grant aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, requiring the active participation of experts from both the mathematical sciences and the social, behavioral, and economic sciences. The purpose is to enhance our understanding and predictive capabilities of disease spread by accounting for complex human behaviors. Successful proposals will demonstrate a strong commitment to integrating these diverse fields for comprehensive model development.
