ii. A Tribal organization as defined by 25 U.S.C. 1603(26); or
iii. An Urban Indian organization as defined by 25 U.S.C. 1603(29). Applicants must provide proof of non-profit status with the application, e.g. 501(c)(3).

Description:: The Indian Health Service (IHS) is accepting competitive cooperative agreement applications for Enhanced HIV/AIDS Screening and Engagement in Care. The IHS Office of Clinical and Preventive Services (OCPS), National Human Immunodeficiency Virus/Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (HIV/AIDS) Program serves as the primary source for national education, policy development, budget development, and allocation for clinical, preventive, and public health HIV/AIDS programs for the IHS, Area Offices, and Service Units. It provides leadership in articulating the clinical, preventive, and public health needs of American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities and developing, managing, and administering program functions related to HIV/AIDS.
