Additional Information

Agency Name: Bureau of International Narcotics-Law Enforcement
Description: Students studying at law faculties in BiH are afforded few practical learning opportunities within the established law curriculum. The curriculum does not focus on practical skillsets that are needed by justice sector professionals. Students can graduate from law faculties and become attorneys while still lacking the practical skills needed to perform their duties professionally, accurately, and adequately. INL/Sarajevo seeks to provide law faculty students a better understanding of the practical aspects of the legal profession. This, in turn, will help produce more competent justice sector professionals, strengthening the justice system in BiH.A successful proposal will seek to institutionalize the program so it can be replicated and supported by local institutions. All curricula, documents, training aids, and all other related material will become the property of INL for the purpose of allowing involved educators to replicate the lectures and training courses in the coming years.
