MTU is home to Isle Royale’s internationally-acclaimed ecological research on wolves and moose, as well as several other realms of research that are critical to the Park, including global climate change, and forest systems analyses. MTU also has a well-established program for teacher professional development and education for diverse K-12 audiences, and an exisitng outreach network to public audiences of interest to the NPS (particularly teachers, diverse communities, underrepresented youth audineces, and other groups who traditionally have had limited access to Isle Royale) |
