Additional Information on Eligibility: | This Single Source Award is being made in accordance with the Department of the Interior Policy 505 DM 2.14 B, #2 continuation of activity to complete it, which allows for award without competition to an applicant. For the successful completion of activity of this activity it is imperative to consider this as a continuation funding sole source agreement. The Lower Brule site is unique because it supports one of the smallest Black-tailed Prairie Dog complexes where Black-footed Ferrets have been re-introduced. The location is also in the eastern portion of the ferret’s range in South Dakota and the proposed activity will further the conservation and recovery of this species. |
