This Maternal and Child Health Department grant is for improving access to integrated preventive oral health care (POHC) in primary services for at-risk MCH populations. It supports an MCH-IOHI Alliance of state stakeholders. This Alliance will implement a two-tier, state and local improvement approach. Efforts focus on Policy, Education, and Data, including informing state policy, increasing oral health literacy, and enhancing surveillance at the state level. Locally, the grant will establish and validate evidence-based integrated POHC models in underserved communities. Participating projects will also engage in a learning collaborative.
