Additional Information on Eligibility: The United States Department of the Interior, The National Park Service (NPS), Blue Ridge Parkway, is announcing a notice of intent to award to award a cooperative agreement; this is not a request for applications. This funding opportunity is to provide public notice of NPS’s intention to fund the following project activities without full and open competition, under Cooperative Agreement P15AC00015 with American Conservation Experience , for a project titled; Moses E. Cone Memorial Park (Cone) Landscape Restoration.

Description: Project Summary â¿¿ The cultural landscape restoration crew will focus on removal and chipping of encroaching vegetation along approximately 24 miles of carriage trails within the Moses Cone Memorial Park. The Cone carriage trails are listed on the National Historical Register and removal of this vegetation will improve visitor experience, restore the cultural landscape and make maintenance of the carriage bed and drainage structures more accessible to equipment and NPS personnel.
