Description: This is a modification to the synopsis entitled 2011 SUMMER OF INNOVATION PROJECT which was posted on 1/6/2011. You are notified that the following changes are made: The Full Cooperative Agreement Notice has been posted on the NASA Solicitation and Proposal Integrated Review and Evaluation System (NSPIRES).

A pre-proposal teleconference will be held on January 27, 2011 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
So that NASA will be able to cover as much information as possible at the teleconference prospective offerors are requested to submit any written questions before 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on January 26, 2011. Only questions submitted in advance will be answered during the teleconference. No “live” questions will be taken or answered during the call.

Description: The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Educational Programs Office is releasing a Cooperative Agreement Notice (CAN) for the 2011 SUMMER OF INNOVATION PROJECT.

On or about January 12, 2011 this CAN will be available electronically through the NASA Solicitation and Proposal Integrated Review and Evaluation System (NSPIRES). This web-based system supports NASA research from the release of solicitation announcements through the peer review and selection processes. Institutions eligible to respond to this CAN are limited to accredited US schools, school districts or state departments of education, colleges and universities, non-profit organizations subject to 501(C3) of the US tax code, foundations, trade associations, and state and local governmental associations. For-profit companies are not eligible to apply for 2011 SoI awards but they are eligible to partner with the prime Offeror in the execution of the 2011 SoI project.
