Additional Information

Agency Name: Centers for Disease Control – NCIRD
Description: This notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) continues the support of partner governments funded by IP13-1304 and IP13-1306 that demonstrate the capability, expertise, resources, national reach, and track record to implement the influenza surveillance strategies and activities outlined in this NOFO. Sustaining and strengthening these capacities is vital to ensure an effective global detection and response to pandemic influenza. While CDC continues to provide technical assistance to partner governments through this NOFO and others, CDC also recognizes that it is also the responsibility country partners to identify and solicit support from stakeholders within countries to contribute to help sustain and maintain the capacity built in the past years.
