The National Institutes of Health (NIH) offers support to develop and pilot interventions reducing HIV/AIDS-associated stigma in low- and middle-income countries. This initiative aims to improve HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and care, enhancing quality of life for PLWH. Priorities include innovative stigma measurement, addressing its impact on adolescents, youth, families, caregivers, and aging PLWH. The grant also supports novel interventions promoting care-seeking and decreasing transmission, and strategies for coping with complex stigma from HIV and co-morbidities.
