Additional Information on Eligibility: To ensure that awardees can promptly design and conduct population-based surveillance in a population of adequate size to achieve the public health intent of this funding opportunity, eligible applicants for an award must meet the following criteria:   Established researchers with a principal investigator (PI) who has documented expertise in either neurologic or epidemiologic research; A research team with documented expertise in both neurology and epidemiology; Evidence (in the form of letters of support or other documentation) ensuring access to a study population of sufficient size to provide reasonable precision in statistical estimates of critical outcome measures.
