Additional Information

Agency Name: National Park Service
Description: Master Cooperative Agreement Number P16AC00027 was entered into by and between the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS), and SEEDS, Inc. to foster local solutions to global issues and provide youth opportunities to gain experience in a number of green collar industries that are increasingly relevant to the 21st century workplace. Green collar industries add value to both the natural resources and the social fabric of a community in additional to any economic benefits.

This project will engage a youth crew (1 crew leader and 5 youth workers) to perform rehabilitation and maintenance of trails and visitor areas including repair of tent pads, repair of storm-related damage in the Alligator Hill area, and others areas of the park trails and campgrounds while learning job skills, gaining an appreciation of the trails, campgrounds, natural outdoor resources, and the work done to by NPS preserve the park. This project helps stimulate local economy by hiring local youth. Unless otherwise specified herein, the terms and conditions as stated in the Master Cooperative Agreement will apply to this Task Agreement.
