The National Park Service (NPS) and the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission (WSP&RC) are collaborating on this grant to enhance visitor experiences and infrastructure at key Columbia River sites. The initiative aims to develop a comprehensive schedule of interpretive programs and services for jointly managed locations, including Station Camp, Dismal Nitch, Cape Disappointment, and Fort Columbia. Furthermore, this grant will fund the development of conceptual trail routes by a multi-agency team. Essential support activities include conducting detailed topographic, utility, real property, and natural and cultural resources surveys to inform future development and preservation efforts at these historically significant sites.
