| Description: | Complete the following items as described in the incorporated signed PMIS 139611 Creating Climate Change Adaptation Strategies for Park Natural Resources Using Enduring Features Implementation Plan (Work Plan), with the changes detailed below a. Ecological Integrity Assessment i. Quantify local ecological integrity and non-climate stressors in climate change priority areas based on (1) evaluation of existing plot data and/or (2) information contained in the park Natural Resource Condition Assessments b. Climate Change Adaptation Strategies i. Develop site-specific adaptation strategies for 2-4 parks ii. Convene a workshop to review and append strategies, with a focus on regional connectivity c. Outreach, Communication, and Reporting i. Regular team meetings and check-ins with NPS project contact. ii. Adaptation strategies workshop iii. Final technical report and webinar to facilitate the communication of project results d. Items a. and b. above will focus on a subset of NCR parks; most likely CATO, ANTI, HAFE, and CHOH 7. Although the Cooperator has every expectation of completing tasks as scheduled according to the approved Work Plan, it is possible that adjustments may have to be made due to unanticipated factors or changes in project needs and funding. Changes in priorities and/or modifications to the Work Plan will be handled by mutual agreement of NPS and the Cooperator. 8. Attend relevant project meetings and provide to the NPS annual reports with at least three electronic photos of project activity no later than 15 September each year |
