Description: This action will result in a Task Agreement award under the National Park Service Gulf Coast Cooperative EcoSystem Studies Unit (CESU). This is a Notice of Intent (NOI) and a non-competitive award IAW DOI Departmental Manual 505 DM 2. Please see attached full announcement for more information. The objective of this project is to complete two (2) cultural landscape inventories (CLIs) for the Johnson City Unit of Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park. The Johnson City Unit consists of the LBJ Boyhood Home Area and Johnson Settlement Area. One CLI will be completed for each component landscape. The completion of the two CLIs will satisfy the park’s NHPA Section 110 responsibilities for cultural landscape resources, and will contribute toward PMDS Goal Ia7, Cultural Landscapes Condition. These two CLIs will inform the NPS of the features significant to the cultural landscapes of the LBJ Boyhood Home Area and Johnson Settlement Area and will provide the NPS with data and information that will help understand the history, evolution, and existing condition of the two areas.
