Additionally, MCFD is a long-term key partner in wildland fire fuels reduction. They are a local cooperating agency that does not have any special housing or camping needs compared, and are local and familiar with all Park policies and regulations. In addition, the education as well as the interagency and public cooperative management opportunities makes a cooperative arrangement with MCFD mutually beneficial for both the MCFD and the NPS. |
