Description: OVERVIEWActivities under this Agreement may include, but are not limited to, projects that will:� Oversee the preparation of the American Latino Heritage theme study.� Oversee the National Historic Landmark nominations.� Oversee the development of Latino American Youth summits and associated programs.� Develop a travel itinerary website associated with Latino American heritage.� Support activities of the Underground Railroad Network to Freedom�s annual conference and annual grants program.� Support activities involved in gathering data of U.S. Colored Troops who fought during the Civil War.� Support projects administered with the NPS Office of Interpretation and Education, such as �Civil Rights and African American History Education,� �Civil War Sesquicentennial Commemorations� and other programs.� Support other projects associated with the African American Experience Fund (AAEF), the American Latino Heritage Fund (ALHF) and other similar project funds.RECIPIENT INVOLVEMENT1. Accept and incorporate NPS funds into the AAEF and ALHF to support the preservation, interpretation and experience of America�s nationally significant cultural heritage. 2. Support projects that benefit the American public including, but not limited to, the preparation of National Historic Landmark nominations of historic properties associated with American Latino history, the organization and implementation of Youth Summits nationwide that engage Latino youth in historic preservation and develop digital and electronic educational videos and materials to illuminate African American history. 3. Provide overall management for the administration and management of NPS funds and will provide appropriate briefings and annual reports pursuant to the requirements identified in this Agreement. NATIONAL PARK SERVICE INVOLVEMENT1. Designate staff members who will be substantially involved with NPF in undertaking activities covered by this Agreement.2. Help oversee the implementation of projects supported by Agreement.
