The National Park Service is offering this grant to support critical conservation efforts for the endangered Beach Mouse. This grant is for the purpose of linking population studies and habitat restoration initiatives directly to the predicted impacts of sea level rise. The objective is to develop strategies that help the species adapt to changing coastal environments. This action will result in a task agreement award under the National Park Service Gulf Coast Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU). Please note that this is a notice of intent for a noncompetitive award, conducted in accordance with DOI 505 DM 2.12C. This grant aims to ensure the long-term survival of the endangered Beach Mouse populations by integrating ecological research with proactive environmental management.
