Additional Information

Agency Name: National Park Service
Description: The objective of this Task Agreement is to collaborate on youth experiential education through habitat restoration, natural resources project support and outdoor facility work (such as trails and fencing) at Fort Baker. The primary objective of this Task Agreement is to provide CCNB youth crews meaningful work experiences and experiential education through on-the-ground work at Fort Baker. This work will also support natural and cultural resource goals for Fort Baker which were identified in the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the site. Throughout Fort Baker, this work is needed to improve the visitor experience and to protect habitat, especially for the federally endangered mission blue butterfly. The actions proposed in this project are to plant native plants, remove invasive plants, and work on outdoor facilities such as trails and fencing.
The recipient of this task agreement (CCNB is recommended) will work closely with the NPS to implement this project. The GGNRA Fort Baker Natural Resources Specialist will work closely with CCNB staff to plan and implement project work as well as to complete required project compliance. All work will be conducted as a collaboration with mutual input from both sides.
