This grant is aimed at developing a watershed health and vulnerability assessment framework for wild and scenic rivers. The study focuses on identifying key indicators, such as flow conditions, land use changes, and water quality impairments, to help prioritize conservation and restoration activities. Additionally, the grant aims to strengthen partnerships between federal, state, and local agencies to protect and improve water quality in line with the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act. Opportunities for citizen science participation are also encouraged.
