The National Park Service (NPS) is offering the Semiquincentennial Grant Program, a competitive funding opportunity under the Historic Preservation Fund (HPF). This grant is specifically designed to support the physical preservation of cultural resources significantly associated with the founding of America as a nation, in commemoration of its 250th anniversary. Projects must focus on National Register listed or eligible historic properties, encompassing buildings, sites, structures, objects, or historic districts. While these grants do not mandate a non-Federal match, applicants should note that a voluntary match may be considered a competitive advantage. This program aims to ensure the long-term safeguarding of America’s rich historical legacy.
