Cost-share grants are also available for planning, research, and educational initiatives related to the preservation of Route 66. The legislation enabling this program is provided through the Route 66 Corridor Preservation Act of 1999 (Public Law 106-45; 111-11, Section 7304), which is administered by the National Park Service. |
