Additional Information on Eligibility: This is not a request for applications. The United States Department of Interior, National Park Service is providing public notice of the intent to award a task agreement under a previously competed or single source justified master cooperative agreement with Greening Youth Foundation, a partner under the Youth Engagement and Development Program.

Description: This project will train nine (9) Greening Youth interns to provide support for facilities, collections, and interpretation/education programs and events for three park units (Tuskegee Institute, Tuskegee Airmen, and Selma to Montgomery National Historic Trail). The project provides opportunities for young adults to learn about the nation’s resources by spending time working on projects in National Parks to motivate them to become involved in the natural, cultural and /or historical resource protection of their communities and beyond resulting in shared environmental stewardship. The NPS receives the indirect benefit of completing conservation projects.
