Description: Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division is interested in receiving proposals to explore the existence of physical mechanisms of nuclear decay modulation. Though the mechanisms for the observed time dependence in nuclear decay parameters are not well understood, the importance of this work is the ability to account for noise sources associated with microelectronics in radiation environments. The amount of resources made available to this BAA will depend on the quality of the proposals received and the availability of funds. The Period of Performance for this grant will be 1 year and the maximum award amount is $80,000. The BAA will contain additional information along with instructions for proposal preparation and submission.
