The NAWCA Department is offering the U.S. Standard Grants Program, a competitive matching grant opportunity. This grant supports public-private partnerships undertaking projects in the United States. Its purpose is to advance the goals of the North American Wetlands Conservation Act by focusing on long-term protection, restoration, enhancement, or establishment of wetlands and associated uplands habitats. These efforts benefit all wetlands-associated migratory birds. A 1:1 match is required. Importantly, this program does not fund research, prioritizing direct habitat conservation and improvement.
