This grant, offered by the National Centers for Coastal Ocean Centers (NCCOS)/Center for Sponsored Coastal Ocean Research (CSCOR), is for developing a concept of operations for scenario-type forecasts crucial for ecosystem-based management of coastal ecosystems, including Great Lakes systems. This 2-year project aims to support one initiative with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2011. Funding is contingent on Fiscal Year 2011 appropriations, with final recommendations expected by early Calendar Year 2011. The annual budget for the selected project should be less than $250,000. This opportunity seeks to advance predictive modeling for sustainable coastal and Great Lakes environmental stewardship.
