NCI Diversity Training Branch: Mentored Research Scientist Development Award (K01)

The Diversity Training Branch (DTB) of the Center to Reduce Cancer Health Disparities (CRCHD) at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) offers the Mentored Research Scientist Development Award (K01) to promote diversity in the NCI-funded cancer research workforce. This grant provides salary and research support to individuals from underrepresented groups in biomedical, behavioral, social, and clinical sciences. Recipients receive ‘protected time’ for intensive research career development under the guidance of an experienced mentor. Applications are invited from those underrepresented in health-related science to enhance their research skills and contribute to cancer health disparities reduction.
