Additional Information

Agency Name: National Endowment for the Arts
Description: Performing Arts Global Exchange (PAGE) is a nationwide program designed to increase availability of international performing arts programming throughout the United States and to promote a greater understanding of other cultures through the performing arts. Through the PAGE program, the NEA will award funds to a U.S. Regional Arts Organization (RAO) to provide subawards to nonprofit arts presenters located anywhere in the United States and its territories that contract performing artists from the PAGE roster, curated annually by the RAO. Artists on the roster have not widely toured in the United States and reside in a focus region, selected by the RAO for its rich array of artists. An emphasis is placed on funding projects in underserved communities that have little access to this type of artistic work. Subaward project activities must include a public performance and a community engagement activity that provides audiences direct interaction with the visiting artists.
