The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Division of Education Programs is offering the Dialogues on the Experience of War grant, an integral part of its ‘Standing Together: The Humanities and the Experience of War’ initiative. This grant is designed to support the study and facilitated discussion of important humanities sources that explore various facets of armed conflict. The primary purpose is to enable U.S. military veterans, and also active service members, military families, and interested members of the public, to engage deeply with and reflect upon the complex issues associated with war and military service. By fostering thoughtful conversations, this program aims to leverage the power of the humanities to enrich understanding and perspectives on these profound experiences.
