Additional Information

Agency Name:: National Institutes of Health
Description:: The purpose of this funding opportunity announcement (FOA) is to announce the recompetition of the Cooperative Multicenter Reproductive Medicine Network (RMN). The NICHD invites applications from investigators willing to participate, with the assistance of the NICHD under cooperative agreements, in an ongoing multicenter cooperative program designed to conduct clinical studies to investigate problems in reproductive medicine including female and male infertility, gynecologic and male reproductive system diseases and disorders that impact fertility, problems in andrology and endocrinology affecting reproduction. The objective of this program is to facilitate diagnostic and therapeutic solutions to these problems by maintaining a clinical research network of sites that use common protocols in large scale human trials to obtain answers to important clinical problems more rapidly than individual sites acting alone. This network benefits the public: infertile couples, individuals with reproductive diseases and disorders, and their health care providers.
