The NICHD is offering this Program Project (P01) grant initiative to support integrated, multi-project research programs that maintain HIV as a well-defined, central research focus or objective. This grant is specifically for the purpose of fostering collaborative environments where a group of interrelated research projects can thrive. While each project within the P01 structure is expected to possess its own distinct scientific merit and be capable of standing independently, a core requirement is their synergistic interaction. This ensures that the collective efforts contribute to a more comprehensive and impactful advancement in HIV research. The initiative aims to drive significant progress by funding well-coordinated, multi-faceted investigations into various aspects of HIV.
