The Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) and the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) are offering this grant to encourage research (R01) investigating pregnancy among women with disabilities. This grant aims to study the incidence, course, and outcomes of pregnancy in women with physical, intellectual, developmental, and/or sensory disabilities. Areas of interest include informing preconceptional and antenatal counseling, strategies to address prenatal care barriers, and effective management of pregnancy, the puerperium, and the transition to parenthood.
