The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) is offering this grant to support creative and innovative institutional research training programs. This Postdoctoral Training Program in Obstetric and Pediatric Pharmacoepidemiology is for the purpose of ensuring a diverse pool of highly trained scientists are available to address the nation’s biomedical, behavioral, and clinical research needs. Specifically, the grant encourages and supports training in pediatric and/or obstetric pharmacoepidemiology. Its primary goal is to produce a well-qualified cadre of academic investigators capable of conducting vital pharmacoepidemiologic research concerning children and/or pregnant women, thereby advancing critical public health understanding and practices in these vulnerable populations.
