Description: | �This Notice is to inform the research community that the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) intends to reissue the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) PA-20-208. The purpose of this NOFO is to provide dissertation awards to �rigorous doctoral candidates for up to two years for the completion of the doctoral dissertation research project. Projects should align with the NIDA Strategic Plan. � This award will facilitate the entry of investigators into the field of substance use/substance use disorder research. Applications are particularly encouraged from those who can contribute to diversifying the research workforce as described in the Notice of NIH’s Interest in Diversity (NOT-OD-20-031). This Notice is being provided to allow potential applicants sufficient time to develop meaningful collaborations and responsive projects.� The NOFO is expected to be published in Spring 2023 with an expected application due date in Fall 2023. This NOFO will utilize the R36 activity code. Details of the planned NOFO are provided below. |
