The NIDDK is offering this grant to establish Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Research and Translation Core Centers. This grant is for supporting both basic and clinical research into Cystic Fibrosis. These Core Centers provide shared resources, facilitate new therapy development and testing, and foster collaborations among institutions with strong CF research. They support three primary activities: Research Core services, a Pilot and Feasibility program, and an Administrative Core with an enrichment program. The NIDDK currently supports several such centers and aims to advance research excellence in CF through these initiatives.
