NIDILRR is offering the Switzer Research Fellowships program to build vital research capacity within the disability community. This initiative provides support to highly qualified individuals, including those with disabilities, to conduct original research. This grant is specifically for the purpose of advancing knowledge on crucial topics such as rehabilitation, independent living, and other diverse experiences and outcomes of people with disabilities. Fellows are required to focus their research on areas directly relevant to the lives of individuals with disabilities, encompassing health and function, employment, or community living and participation outcomes. NIDILRR anticipates making six fellowship awards, each supporting a 12-month project period, to stimulate significant contributions in these critical fields.
