This NIH grant, supported by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) through the UC4 mechanism, is for the purpose of studying the impact of clinical decision support systems. Specifically, it aims to assess how these systems can disseminate and increase the adoption of imaging-related comparative effectiveness research findings. The goal is to implement and evaluate real-time decision support systems, which, if effective, could be widely adopted. The National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) anticipates committing up to $3,000,000 across two awards in fiscal year 2010, depending on application quality and fund availability.
