The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) is offering this grant to support research and evaluation projects focused on critical topics relevant to State, local, and tribal criminal and juvenile justice policy and practice. This grant is for the purpose of advancing evidence-based approaches to crime control and prevention. Priority research areas include police investigations, police integrity, the impact of technology on policing, effective policing strategies for smaller agencies, and understanding desistance from gangs and gang-related crime.
