The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) is offering this grant to fund research and evaluation focusing on specific issues within sexual violence, stalking, and teen dating violence. This grant is for advancing understanding and improving criminal justice responses to these critical areas. For sexual violence, NIJ seeks proposals on criminal justice responses for underserved populations, developing and testing instruments with diverse groups, and innovative interventions to enhance initial victim responses. Priority for stalking research includes evaluating offender interventions for intimate partner stalking and examining law enforcement and prosecutorial actions. For teen dating violence (adolescent relationship abuse), applications are sought for additional data waves for existing longitudinal projects. This initiative aims to bolster evidence-based practices in preventing and responding to these forms of violence.
