NIJ Ph.D. Graduate Research Fellowship Program for Criminal Justice Studies
The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) is offering the Ph.D. Graduate Research Fellowship (GRF) program to accredited universities that support graduate study leading to research-based doctoral degrees. This grant provides awards for conducting research on crime, violence, and other criminal justice-related topics. NIJ aims to invest in doctoral education by supporting universities that sponsor students demonstrating the potential to successfully complete their Ph.D. programs. Eligible disciplines include social and behavioral sciences, operations technology, information and sensors research and development, and investigative and forensic sciences. Applicants from policy, health sciences, or education fields are eligible only if their doctoral research dissertation is in an NIJ-supported discipline.
